The location is good and the staff was very nice and accomodating. The room was big and the toiletries were high-end, and even if some were in bigger containers, they were full and didn't seem used. Filtered water was provided in nicely labelled glass bottles, a very good mix of premium and environmentally friendly at the same time as opposed to plastic bottled water you get elsewhere. Breakfast was very good for the low occupancy that was at the moment and the staff was constantly circling around to refill things.

Located just 164 feet from the Black Sea and across the Spa Sanatorium in Mangalia, New Belvedere Hotel, formerly President, is built on the vestiges of the ancient Roman fortress of Callatis.
